Before and after payment

Before payment, MendVid receives the filename and file size used to create your job. The media itself stays on your device. After confirmed payment, you choose the original again and upload it, along with an optional matching healthy reference.

How files are processed

Uploaded media is stored privately on our server. Repair programs process one job at a time in a container without network access. A usable result may produce a separate watermarked review sample. Media endpoints require access to the owning job and confirmed payment.

Video files, references, recovered results and intermediate media are automatically removed after 24 hours. The job page shows the current expiry. Temporary repair intermediates are removed after processing. You can also delete stored job media when no attempt or upload is active. Keep your original recording.

Payments and job information

Creem handles hosted checkout and payment information. MendVid stores the payment identifiers, confirmed payment state, checkout email, job status, technical result summary and original-file fingerprint needed to reconcile the purchase and prevent duplicate charges. MendVid does not receive your card number. Limited job and payment metadata remains after media deletion to support reconciliation and eligible retries.

Browser storage and access

An essential session cookie protects access to your jobs. Your browser can store job IDs and private recovery keys so you can restore access. Anyone holding a recovery link can access that job; keep it private. Google Analytics loads on public pages only if you choose “Allow analytics.” It uses analytics cookies to measure visits and general traffic sources. We exclude private repair pages and do not send your videos, filenames, job IDs or recovery keys to Google Analytics. Page addresses exclude query strings and fragments; referring addresses are reduced to the website origin. Advertising features and automatic interaction measurement are disabled. You can decline or withdraw consent using “Cookie preferences” in the footer of a public page. We also respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track browser signals. Essential job access continues to work when analytics is off. Google’s privacy policy explains how Google handles the data it receives.

Optional email contact

If you choose to contact us from an unsuccessful result page, your own email application handles that message and any file links you share. No email or attachment is sent automatically. We process only the copies you choose to provide. After a successful manual repair change, we delete video copies held by our team before notifying you to re-upload your original to the same paid job.
